“ We stopped by here for drinks as it was in the hotel we were staying at and there's nothing bad to say about our experience. A bit pricy for cocktails in my opinion, but the taste was pretty solid. Our bartender was also pretty friendly, not super chatty but efficient. Ambiance felt pretty classy, it did just suit the hotel vibes of a nice spot. We came at a time without many other visitors so it felt pretty quiet. Overall, not a bad spot for drinks with decent service - drinks were also nice! ”

“ Delicious breakfast at the absolutely stunning Iron Rose. It's located inside the Mills House Hotel which is also stunning! I was shocked how big this restaurant is! My Chicken & Waffles were delicious. The chicken was crispy and the waffles were big and fluffy. My friend enjoyed The Holy City Breakfast. It's a lot of food for the price. Our waiter was great! He was on top of it. Definitely a must when in CHS, but make a reservation! ”

“ There is nothing like checking out the hotels around Charleston during Christmas time. They get you into the holiday spirit, and you know they always have fantastic cocktails and food offerings. We recently got to check out Iron Rose at the Mills House Hotel, and everything was so festive and good! They even had a Rebecca Illustrated pop-up shop where you could stuff a stocking full of fun merch. We tried drinks from their new 12 Cocktails of Christmas menu. I had their Smoke & Snow, mezcal, and tonic with espresso. It was so good! The food was so fresh that we loved sharing all the apps, from the butter bean hummus to oyster gratin, charred octopus, seared tuna, roasted squash, and Brussels sprouts! Never one to skip dessert, their Nobel Nogg cocktail was the perfect drink to pair with their amazing dessert offerings. Make sure you check them out for a romantic dinner or brunch. Also, make sure you stop by the Rebecca Illustrated gift shop ”

For my main fish I got the market fish which was seriously amazing. We got some veggies for the table as well to share. I would highly recommend this place! Beautiful hotel as well. ”

“ Great restaurant inside the Mills House hotel. There is also a bar section with a few tables, but the restaurant only area is very big with plenty of tables. They have appetizers and entrees. We started with the hummus appetizer, and it was very tasty. I had the tuna special entree that came with mushrooms and fingerling potatoes. It was a very nice meal. My husband had the ribeye steak entree. It came with grilled asparagus, fingerling potatoes and a greens salad. It was very plentiful and very tasty. For dessert, we had the cheesecake. ”

“ Stopped in for a quick drink and app while staying at the Mills House Hotel. We were able to get seated right away and order drinks. I wanted a fun mocktail and our server was able to work with the bartender to make me a fun custom drink (although a bit expensive) We split the caprese salad, which was a nice and light treat. Decor was great in the bar and they had a large dining room and an outdoor space. Would definitely be back when I'm in town ”

“ Found this place while googling restaurant for lunch on Sunday. This restaurant located inside the Mills House Charleston hotel in downtown area. We parked at the nearby parking garage and walked into this beautiful restaurant. The host seated us right away and we like that we can look out the porch from our table. Our server was good in giving drinks recommendation and offer hamburger kids meal for our son. I had the wild mushrooms quiche with salad and a side of fresh fruits. The rest of my family ordered their Holy City breakfast which consist of two eggs your way, bacon/ sausage, potatoes/ grits, the also give you a choice of biscuit/ sourdough/ white bread , and a side and they all want fresh fruits. It was a very hearty meals and tasted so good. I am glad we found this place and we are planning to come next time to try out their dinner menu. ”
